Delicate petals, those poor little souls

Vibrant ones, those courageous protectors

Imagine the cries... imagine the woes...

As we celebrate the season,  "they" grieve and mourn

Rest, you all.... in peace....

seen right from the window sill

All serene... all clean...

captured right through the silhouette

Sun sets... a new bright day coming...

At least that is the "hope"

that currently lingers

in this country of mine...
