Comensurate with a Sigh

Green,low... orange, high

Leaves fall... leaves fly...

Heart in a grit

Wondering soul amidst

Piety abounds 

Thoughts, too deep

It was as faint as it could be

Divergence, control

Independent paths, same core

Reflection

of me... on you...

It is a bit scary

Losing oneself

In order to find another

Reflection

of life... on us...

It will constantly transform

Assimilation reigns

As we travel through change

Just outside your neighborhood you're findin'

What a great era it must have been

Oh, so bright!  Such a bewildering sight!

You can't touch it, but you can delight

Imagination can make any history a wonderful plight

.No wintry whites,

Nor leafy woods

No colorful foliage,

Nor aromatic shoots

So magical, so pure...

Beauty in nothingness definitely endures...

Delicate petals, those poor little souls

Vibrant ones, those courageous protectors

Imagine the cries... imagine the woes...

As we celebrate the season,  "they" grieve and mourn

Rest, you all.... in peace....

First round of morning snow,

seen right from the window sill

All serene... all clean...

captured right through the silhouette

of a window screen...

Sun sets... a new bright day coming...

At least that is the "hope"

that currently lingers

in this country of mine...
